THE 2018 12.9-INCH IPAD PRO WITH WI-FI AND CELLULAR DROPS TO ITS LOWEST PRICE EVER
You won’t get a lot of room with this model, but you’ll have a ton of power.
When I reviewed the latest iPad Pro last year, I marveled at its laptop-trouncing specs, but I knew plenty of people wouldn’t want to stomach its laptop-like prices. Today’s deal at Amazon finally brings the price down to something reasonable and manageable. You can get the 64GB 12.9-inch model with both Wi-Fi and cellular for just $900, which is way down from the $1,149 it sold for at launch. That’s a discount of $249, and it’s the best price we’ve seen for this model by almost $50.

And no lie—it’s a fantastic price. My one bit of caution, though, is that 64GB isn’t a lot of space to work with for a “Pro” machine. If you plan on loading up this rig with videos, games, and apps like Adobe Lightroom (or the expected but still-missing Adobe Photoshop), it’s going to fill up fast. On the other hand, I work with the outrageously roomy 1TB model, and I’ve never come close to filling that thing. Consider how you’ll use it and then work from there.
You can read my full review of the 2018 12.9-inch iPad Pro for more information. Some of the highlights include support for Face ID, a new Apple Pencil (which you’ll need to buy separately), and a crazy fast A12X Bionic processor.
